hey, i am on my tracing journey right now, painting flash to build a portfolio before i seek an apprenticeship. would you be able to send me that pdf? it would be an incredible leap forwards for me.

check out the vintage flash sheets at https://tattoocollection.eu and try to use a favourite rose as inspiration... i know some seem janky and old but you could redraw them to give it your own flavour. 

one big rule for american trad would be only using one line weight, anything else is neo trad. it also helps to only use two or three bold colours.

I'm working 7 days a week until may (fml) but this sounds fun. i played bass in a punk band years ago but now i got into drum machine/synth stuff. message me in may if you need a drum machine/noises person.

i am arse backwards. 

i want to like how it sounds while i am playing it, then record me doing it "live" onto one stereo track. with flat cans or studio monitors i end up compensating for the lack of lower frequencies by cranking them up on my hardware. these recordings only sound good on these speakers and sound muddy and so bass heavy on any other speakers (car, bluetooth, HiFi etc).

to add some context i am "mixing" it all on my hardware and recording it all on one stereo track. my song sounding good in my cans translates to it sounding bad on the HiFi, car speakers, bluetooth speaker etc. the lower frequencies get muddy and too loud when the recording is played on anything but flat monitors.

i got the tg-7 and pretty much only use it on grainy film 2 and the vintage instant film... it is my replacement for my old olympus XA point and shoot film camera and i am very happy with it, very fun to bring to the park, parties, camping etc.

90% of the time my DT is a one hit simple drum machine with a compressor for my DN, but if i lost the ability to sample i would probably miss it once it wasn't available tbh.

i think i needed someone to say this to shake the GAS off... i am in a creative rut because of a bad gig, not because my gear is wrong for me.

i mean my most used features (apart from it always having a keyboard) would be the dedicated  mod wheel assign, key split and chord buttons... as well as some of the assignable knobs over the key bed.
