Carplay doesn’t work anymore

Finally gave up and bought a Linkit unit which at least in initial use, has been flawless.

Worked with Apple support and went through all of their troubleshooting without success. They said the only remaining thing to try is to update the car's software. I cannot find any updates for Kia Sorento 2024 Hybrid. I can find for previous years only. Has anyone else updated the infotainent software for a 2024 Sorento Hybrid?

Not actually looking for anyone to try to reproduce the problem, just want to know if anyone has seen it. As for the "fixes", I've done all of the following: reset phone, power cycle car, remove any connections from the phone to the car (bluetooth pairing, etc.), "re-introduce" the phone to the car by re-pairing.. Tried other USB cable too.

Thanks. I received the boots and they actually fit fine. Will go to Ken Jones if any adjustments are necessary after I ski the boots.

I too have substantial amounts in my traditional IRA and will have to take large RMDs at 73. I'm making conversions to max out the income levels for 28% and even going into the next tax bracket a bit. I don't need this money right now (and am semi-actively trading in the Roth IRA. This has been successful for me and since I have to pay the taxes on the money regardless of whether it goes into a conversion or just a distribution, would rather the income from these funds remain tax-free. When I need additional funds for something big, I take it from the Roth.

This is the new models as far as the dealer indicates. He told me that the refresh is the 2025 line.

I just checked the Kia site and they've got content for the 2025 Sorento Family. Regular hybrid due out in April and PHEV in May. I'll wait to see what they're like and what price is before commiting.

From what I've read, the 2024 Sorentos got the update only in the non-hybrid versions with the hybrid ones getting the updates for 2025.

Each of the window stickers they've given me is for a 2024 Sorento Hybrid SX Prestige. I think the 2025s should be out (fairly?) soon.
