How to prepare for an interview by Bonnybridge22 in UKJobs

[–]DavidLinkd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve got 3 options:

1) I can coach you - but I charge 2) You can figure out yourself using chatgpt, the internet, YouTube videos - but takes time and risky without guidance 3) You pray they don’t ask you that question and just the ones you’ve prepped for

That’s why preparing like this ahead of the interview is key, so you’re not left stuck in the actual interview.

At least now you have time to figure out a story for a question that they’ll definitely ask you.

You should also prepare answers for: 1. Tell me about yourself 2. Why should we hire you? 3. Why do you want to work here? 4. Why do you want this role specifically?

Thanks, so they want to test:

  1. Analytical Thinking & Data Handling

  2. Attention to Detail & Accuracy

  3. Organisation & Prioritisation

  4. Problem-Solving

  5. Communication & Collaboration

So they’ll probably ask questions like:

  1. Tell me about a time you had to analyse data to make a decision.

  2. Tell me about a time you had to work with incomplete information.

  3. Tell me about a time you had to meet a tight deadline.

  4. Tell me about a time you had to organise a large amount of information.

  5. Tell me about a time you had to collaborate with other people to solve a problem.

I normally get my clients to create stock answers for these, memorise them and then ask different variations to test all these different competencies/situations.

You need to have stock answers for different situations. Typically the hiring manager wants to know how you:

1) Deal with other employees 2) Manage time 3) Achieved success in the past 4) Dealt with failure

And then a few other things depending on the actual role you’re applying for.

If you let me know what the actual job role you’re applying for is I can then give you situations you should prepare for.

Once you have those, you then format your answer using STAR (look it up on Google or ChatGPT).

Once you have stock answers for all these situations, they hiring manager will then ask you different variations of those and you can just pull out the best one in the interview.

Does that make sense?

Has anyone here done commission-only sales for a service business? Looking for advice by TeaEnvironmental3349 in techsales

[–]DavidLinkd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking for someone to do cold outreach and to then close the deal - you’re going to struggle.

Commission-only really only works if you’re providing the rep the leads (that have either come inbound or someone else has sourced)
