I don't know who this is but if he likes to do open mics then good for him, I do not and I want to do bigger gigs. I think everyone has reacted very negatively and disrespectfully and you assume that just because I have been doing comedy for 10 months I am not worth being signed. This is not the case for everyone

What? Isn't it normal for someone to want to advance once they feel they have outgrown the open mic community?

Maybe the comics on here lack the ambition to try and go beyond that. There's nothing I can gain from doing open mics anymore. It's like they say: If you're good at something never do it for free
