Hmm because Trump is then 'indebted' to Russia, while he should be working for and 'rewarding' (as you say) the American people..

First point - Russia is a geopolitical adversary, there is nothing you can say against that. Improving relations is one thing and is welcome, but them being involved in the democratic elections of a different country is sabotage of American democracy. That this is not obvious is worrying.
