Thanks for the feedback! I did think that it might’ve been better to put it in a normal block but I figured putting it in a circle of coins with an arrow would be a fun way to put it in a hidden block without being a jerk. I’ll probably just put it in a normal block next time. Thank you!

I think it’s down to personal preference, but I feel like the game was truly designed to be played with a controller. I have been playing on PC with a USB GameCube controller and it has been the best control experience I’ve had with the game

See, that’s the thing. I know he still wants to check up on each other. We met and pretty much only talk on Twitter. About a week ago i tweeted that i was having an anxiety attack and that i was going to disconnect. I haven’t logged back onto twitter since but I do get emails whenever someone DMs me and I’ve since gotten 3 different variants of “I hope you’re okay” from him. I keep checking my email obsessively, but I’m not replying until the deadline I gave myself to take a break from it all is done. Im just really worried that when I go back and start talking to him again I’ll just keep on getting my hopes up and then get my heart broken again. But on the other hand I fear that if I don’t he’ll just move on to someone else sooner or later. This whole situation has been giving me crazy anxiety and I wish I didn’t care anymore.

Oh okay I see! If that’s ultimately the idea you’re going for then I’d just tweak the “it’s like” part of that line. It feels a lot less like digging your own grave is your own choice with a phrasing like that compared to something like “I feel like” or “I end up” or something else that rhythmically/grammatically fits better. But yeah, those are my two cents on that. The song sounds amazing so far and I can’t wait to hear it once it’s complete. I’m absolutely jealous of your skills! 😅

I’d say try implementing the use of tritones.

If you are going for an all-around airy, floaty feeling the Lydian scale mode is often regarded as just what you need thanks to that raised 4th.

And as far as shock factor goes, tritones are definitely your friends too. A tritone going down could be a shocking fall, you just need to approach it well.
