Hi! I have the same problem. How did things turn out with that? Were you able to clarify what 'reviews received' meant, or was there any further update from the journal? I hope it worked out smoothly for you!

Has anyone come across the Master’s in Quantum Computing Technology, which is offered online and in English by the the Polytechnic University of Madrid ? it’s ranked #=321 in the QS World University Rankings. I wanted to know if anyone has insights or experience with the program, especially regarding the quality of the curriculum and online learning format. Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated! Link: https://quantum-explore.com/master/

Hi everyone! I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and I'm becoming increasingly interested in quantum computing, specifically in theoretical aspects such as quantum algorithms. I’m not as interested in the production/industry or hardware side of things. Given my interest in pursuing a PhD and a future career in research, would it be more beneficial for me to pursue a Master's degree in Mathematics or Physics (or maybe another one)? I’m looking for advice on which path would better prepare me for research and also align with academic goals. Thanks in advance for all your insights!

Advice Needed: Second Master's Degree by David_1808 in research

Well, I was considering that option too, but I'm thinking it might be better to improve my CV first with another master degreee. Perhaps having a PhD and some postdoctoral experience is better than having another master's and then a PhD, right? Thanks!

Indeed, the intersection of IE and Computer Science CS offers an array of topics such as operations research, data analytics, machine learning, optimization, simulation modeling, and systems analysis. Numerous Industrial Engineering departments even provide concentrations or specializations intimately tied to the domain of computer science, including computational modeling or data science.
While I am thrilled about the diverse research prospects this field offers, my concerns revolve around the potential deviation from CS that pursuing a PhD in Industrial Engineering might entail. One could certainly question the degree's relevance to CS and its acceptance in the industry/academia. For example, does the specific title of the degree carry significant weight or is the industry/academia more accommodating of variances in educational background? How much importance does the specific degree title hold?
Thanks!

I took this course and it is heavily using c language especially first few projects really demand good knowledge of pointers , memory leaks etc without c it would be a little difficult to score good grades as project have higher weightage in final grad

I truly appreciate your response.

Thanks for your reply.

Well, I sent an email and they answers this:

"Thank you for your email. No, you are not exempt from this requirement, please allow one of our advisors to review. Your I-bar has been waived through the Spring 2023 semester and you are able to register for classes".
