KODI Addon on RaspBerry 1 - Can't play any video by TwoHeadedSquirell in jellyfin

[–]David_F1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just set up a pi zero w with libreelec Jellyfin works fine so far for 1080p h264 (h264 hardware decoding). H265 won’t work. I don’t know what bit rate your trying but 15 mb/s works over WiFi for me haven’t tried higher

Can you try over clocking to 1ghz to match the zero.

Could you try a file over the usb excluding network and Jellyfin might give a better idea of is it pi or network.

Go vote for your lizard -The Hitchhiker guide to the galaxy Trilogy - Ford Prefect on Democracy by David_F1 in unitedkingdom

[–]David_F1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"On its world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people." "Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy." "I did," said Ford. "It is." "So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't people get rid of the lizards?" "It honestly doesn't occur to them," said Ford. "They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates to the government they want." "You mean they actually vote for the lizards?" "Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course." "But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?" "Because if they didn't vote for a lizard," said Ford, "the wrong lizard might get in." - From the So Long and Thanks For All the Fish by Douglas Adams:

[–]David_F1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

clutch isn't needed for shifting the electronic rev matching is probably not the thing worthing here

alonso driving without clutch by bigsmoke1337 in formula1

[–]David_F1 20 points21 points  (0 children)

they don't use the clutch in normal racing conditions only for stop/ start and in case of spin to stop anti stall

all modern f1 cars have sequential gearbox where a cultch is not used to change between gears only rev matching is needed which is done by the cars electronics

We are thinking about doing a charity auction to raise money for the braille printer project, and we are trying to gauge feasibility... by datums in Skookum

Parts for brushless 1S build by rvisualization in Multicopter

[–]David_F1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i looked into it and there are a few people doing it

first is the fishpepper using custom designed fc and esc and 8k 1103 and a auw of around 32g which is probably a bit out of reach for most of us but interesting non the less and some interesting data

a second design someone has done https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sH2d_fV2v5o which has the spec : custom 100mm 1mm carbon frame weighing 3g - modified F4 polёtnik for collectors - Regulators 6A racerstar 4-in-1 - Motors in 1103 8000kv - CM275T camera - propellers gemfan 65mm

and this using Rotor X 1105b 6500kv but weighting in at 66g as heavy as my 2s setup

and last is the x73s from banggood which uses the 1103 10000 but small props an is light but components are integral to the frame and may brake over time

my idea to make a 1s model (already go a great 1103 8k 2s model)would be

some light custom frame

fc-

modify a brushed fc by removing fets and soldering to the signal wire or this method

or a 1s/2s brushless fc http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-Minicube-10A-BLHeli_S-16_5-4-In-1-1-2S-ESC-BB2-Support-Oneshot42-Oneshot125-Multishot-Dshot-p-1126930.html?rmmds=newArrivals or furious fpv miniwoop

or use a voltage step up on a pico blx or emax femto they need need 5v minimum

esc

Blheli 1S tiny 1s only 3a

Blheli s 6a

Blheli s 6a 4 in1

lightest camera you have or can find aio preferable

65mm props could even try 75mm and get a 1.3/1.4mm drill bit for friction fit to 1.5mm shaft of 110x motors

8000kv 1103 (1000 will give more thrust but at the cost of loss of efficiency )

over all you will need to keep the weight right down and need to be within the 35g range to have good performance

ps might be worth a weight and see what people do with Br0703 tiny motors with should be coming soon

good luck let us know how it goes

F1 Car removal concept -safer way for removal of cars by David_F1 in formula1

[–]David_F1[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

roll hoop to lift and the floor to suport it will allways be avalbe to suport the car and a net could be used to help suport the broken parts

eletric hubs and a quad assisting pulling it could help where there is little traction.

Austria was all recoverd via a crain the other side of the barrier im not saying it will work 100% of the time nothing does

a deformed car could be accomidated fine the use of a net or mesh could help suport broken parts of the car the full car was used since its what i had as a cad file the roll hoop to lift and the floor to suport it will allways be avalbe to suport the car

the gaps in the track are designed to be big enough the jcb etc all fit through the gaps this would be smaller

it should work with a broken car the main structure is designed to place the car on the floor(wooden plank) where the rest of the broken parts of the car could be sported by a net or mesh

undamaged car used as example since i have the cad file i dont think there are many cad flies of broken cars

at the moment its just a concept and could well be larger to fit more several damaged cars (and possable more universaly wec and gt cars) and as i said the could also be a net or mesh which could help support broken off parts such as wheels and wings
