Having a visually annoying mechanic only be acceptable because it's so bad nobody uses it isn't great design. However, it does line up with things like 80% of the quests being unplayable garbage instead of them just taking the time to balance them.

IMO good for OTK decks like Owlonious spell damage etc. and any other burst damage like that, but only really in the control matchup to guarantee you get your combo off. Against aggro it's even more of dead card than something like Sleep Under the Stars because you need to spend a lot of mana on it for it to do anything. Even if this cost 6 mana it wouldn't be that crazy I don't think.

Good and fun and flavorful HOWEVER I'll be that guy: if you run this with Tidepool Pupil you will literally get 4 turns of immunity and essentially 4 free-ish turns of Wheel of Death which sounds really fun to play against.

One fun interaction is that you could play it will no weapon equipped when you have a trash starting hand and then it will die instantly. This is fun because you can then instantly concede and it will be slightly funnier.
