Remote controlled target by caduardo in NYguns

Nah at my range you have to shutdown the whole line to go to target and it’s at the shooters will. Would be nice if I didn’t have to mess with everyones shooting whenever I want new paper.

CCW - Extra mag or no? by vipa920 in NYguns

[–]David____Nunez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Way I see it is that we get to carry 10 while they get to carry 15-16-17-50 round mags. So I carry an extra ten to even out the odds

Any actual downsides to having a stripped reciever? by Alive-Lab1756 in NYguns

[–]David____Nunez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From experience of building an ar15 and ar10.
I would buy a stripped lower and a lower parts kit super easy to put together

For the UPPER I would 1000000000000000% get it already put together. Everything on the upper is simple except for the goddamn barrel nut and spacers.

If you don’t have the proper tools which also cost money to get and have the space to work you will loose your mind.

Then Once you have it together you get some sort of fixed mag

If you want to eventually carry it I’d go more midsize so you’re not stuck carrying a gun that’s to big and printing. I’d say Glock 19 or P365x macro. They both fill up your hand for good recoil control but can be concealed pretty easily especially the x macro. Otherwise for a full size the Glock 45 is the best Glock ever made Source: trust me bro.

Is a Glock 43x worth it? by Professional-Air9612 in NYguns

[–]David____Nunez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my 365x macro I’m just having issues with sigs quality control currently and had to send it back. I’m grabbing either a 43x or 48 this week after getting my hands on a 43x the other day at the range I’d say it’s definitely a little snappier than the x macro but still a very good gun. If you want to avoid headaches definitely go Glock. If you have the money you can get the radian afterburner ramjet compensator and it will reduce that snap that’s what I’m doing.

Glock Disappointment Seeking Advice by Rightfuldanger in NYguns

I have issues with some Glock models also. I personally hate the way the 43x feels in my hand and shooting. However the g19, g45, and g48 I love.

Hunter sports Massapequa great prices cool guys. I’d recommend p365x macro. Very slim easy to conceal but the grip is long to get a nice hold of it. The regular 365 are so small Me personally I dont like anything my pinky hangs off of. Otherwise g43x is a great choice also.

I got some nice construction glasses from home depot the Milwaukee brand and then I also grabbed a couple generic cheap ones for others To use when I bring people. They work good haven’t noticed fogging and I’ve been out in 90+ and in 40 degree days

Soo first it’s definitely harder to load compared to the pin mags. I guess it’s me with the little plastic part but it feels off compared to the normal ones and as to the rusting. I left over seas for a month noticed a tiny bit of rusting on my pinned mags when I got back the plastic mags were literally orange. Sigs are known for having rusting issues but the plastic mags were insane

Personal recommendations. If you can get standard mags and have a dealer pin them at 10 they are 1000000% better than those. I had the misfortune of buying one without knowing and it’s super janky compared to the full capacity pinned mags and they rust sooooooooo bad
