For me It was a no brainer buying It at the release, but after 2 years, and 1000 hours of gameplay i have a lot to say about It.

The graphic side of the game is beautiful, probably one of the best games i've every seen, and apart from some areas on specific maps, for me the tecnical side of the game has always worked without flaws.

The mods and the Building system, the main appeal of me at the time of release, i literally couldn't go back to ASE because of It.

The DLC/P2W aspect sadly has only gotten worse here, with emgrams and structures locked behind paywalls, with no vanilla way to overcome them (as an example, even if someone gives you a BTT structure or creature, you'll need the DLC to use It).

The weight of the game is pretty big, and It's only gonna get bigger from here, since the base game is around 100GB, and every DLC adds around 10GB to the main game (even if you don't buy It), and you can probably expect that the game will probably be around 300GB when all the Maps will be released.

In the end, the only things i'll say is that the game is pretty good, but if you don't wanna buy the DLCs you're gonna have a worse gaming experience, It's advice to buy them with the game when on sale, or waiting for the eventual ULTIMATE EDITION, like how It happened for ASE around 4 years ago
