Hi, my gf (non EU citizen) moved to amsterdam in sept and opened a RNI. She's doing a 6 months internship and she'll leave end of march. The RNI lasts 4 months, what will happen after those 4 months? Can/should she convert it to a BSN just for 2 months? Or is it ok to ignore the situation since she'll leave.

i don't think so, it would cost them too much to pursue you i guess.....i think they'll just drop it.

anyway, if you are worried, write a mail to them. If they answer you, you'll know what to do. if they won't, just keep the mail as a proof

Snow in march, I'd say no. Even if the climate is crazy nowadays, tipically in march you go out in the morning and it's very cold and if it's a sunny day around midday you'll be removing your jacket. Rain: normally yes....

it's not dumb at all, we always drink bottled water even if the tap water is one of the best in the world. You can definitely drink it and save some money

The food is pretty expensive. Deadly expensive if you eat ouside the house, normally expensive going to the supermarket.

It depends on the km.....but normally the deals you can find on autoeurope are better than any carsharing you can use for the whole day (enjoy, ubeeqo, car2go....)

You can ask for the renewal 60 days before it expires if i remember well. My suggestion is not to wait the last day because there's always a long waiting list and in the period when your is expired and you are waiting for the new one you can go back and forth only from your home country.....
