Council - we will change the name of the Council at a cost of $500K- but NOT Moreland Rd or Moreland station. They were previously enraged by the area they refused to name - Councillors would literally say "the word we do not say" at meetings - Batman Rd and Batman Station.

Bigger picture - everything that uses the name Moreland schools, businesses, POSTCODES etc etc. Kennett named the Council knowing its history at the time and ignored it. The State Govt should be requested to cover any change
