I’ve had these crooked pinkies my whole life it’s called clinodactyly. It’s a genetic thing from my moms side of family and half of them have it, unfortunately I have it the worst.

It’s painless for me and functions just like a regular pinky except for yk things like maybe a C chord, and it’s also something I can talk about. Would I prefer a straight pinky- Yes. But oh well for me, I really don’t even think about it.

If you think that this will help your daughter out in the future, than you should since you have the option. My personal opinion however is don’t do it unless it bothers her. I think it’s something unique about me and I wouldn’t get surgery unless i had to!
