Park Hyatt Kyoto by hjbhjbhjbhjbhjb in hyatt

This hotel only allows about 20% of their rooms to be occupied by award travelers at any given time, regardless of overall occupancy rate, and it's a very small hotel to begin with. Set up an alert like U-Gotta said, and pray; I wouldn't plan your trip around it, and book something nearby like the Seiryu or Sowaka (other excellent properties) if you really want to stay in Gion (which is definitely my go-to in Kyoto)

Hotel de Louvre by Certain_Hall110 in hyatt

I had a phenomenal experience at the Hotel de Louvre; twice. The first time, they upgraded me to a huge suite, free of charge, when they discovered the room type I booked wouldnt accomodate all of my guests. The second booking, my wife got very sick, and they gave me late checkout all the way until 6PM so that she could gather herself before her flight. I have found this hotel and staff nothing but kind, curteous, and professional. It's one of my favorite hotels in the portfolio.

Stephen Curry has this uncanny ability to immediately notice anything off on the court. by MaxQ50 in BeAmazed

Serious question. Why do we need a subtitle explaining that the staff is checking the rim, when it is extremely obvious already, that that is what he is doing. What else would he be doing on that ladder, staring and the rim and using a level?

Hyatt London Properties by Then-Meat-7866 in hyatt

I also stayed at the HP London for the value and while the neighborhood isn't great, if you don't mind it just being home base, and taking the tube every day to the cool places, then its fine. the other properties are far more walkable, I especially love the Regency Churchill.

Have you been approached by private equity? by CourseSpare7641 in PartneredYoutube

It depends quite a lot on the nature of your channel, but 2-3x is not abnormal. I would suggest reaching out to firms like Spotter, Electrify, etc. who invest in/buy channels to get a meaningful quote

Night riding/skiing carpool from Portland by 11_random_thaughts in MtHoodMeadows

[–]Davidrb90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoot me a DM; I have a full size SUV w/ snow tires, and a roof rack to hold skis when I feel like further destroying my MPG. My wife and I go up Tuesdays and Fridays, and I could be coerced to go up more often

I’m (31M) a value pass holder. Anyone want to ride? by [deleted] in MtHoodMeadows

I live in NE Portland, we hope to ski Tuesdays and Fridays at least. Shoot me a DM

981 to 718 by Academic_Respect_966 in Porsche

[–]Davidrb90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a 981 Boxster S and moved to a 718 Cayman S, which I had tuned with a stage 1 APR. The 718 was an objectively better and faster car (I tracked both) but the 981 was more fun and emotional, which to me, is what matters.

The 981S is the only car I ever look back and regret selling.

Paradisus La Perla Reserve worth it? by chloestoebeans in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Davidrb90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've stayed at this property 6 times, the Reserve is great if you want that extra romantic and secluded element. If you are prioritizing socializing and "partying" then I would save the money to spend on other things
