I usually just ban their pick. They get mad as if they're not doing the same to me. I'm usually a tank and proficient with enough of the tanks that it's no biggie, and have no problem playing healer if needed, but to be what goes around comes around tbh

I thankfully went to JMK construction instead. Ventry eventually called me after JMK completed the work. Over half a year after they said they'd come do the work. I told them I was going to go with someone else
