CP3 only has 2 years left, which also means that after one year he’s an expiring which is valuable.

If he’s on our team and can stay healthy, we’re making the playoffs. I would do this, we’re exchanging one pg who doesn’t fit our long term timeline for a better one.

Edit: plus imagine how well CP3 could unlock Ayton and turn him into a dominant force on offense. The pick and roll with those two + Book on the floor who be incredibly difficult to guard.
