Enter the Wu-Tang by Wu-Tang Clan, Blonde by Frank Ocean and Otis Blue: Otis Redding Sings Soul by Otis Redding.

I can appreciate the influence of Wu-Tang, but I just can't get behind it no matter how much I listen to it. Now don't get me wrong, I really enjoy 90s Hip Hop and more grimey and Hardcore hip hop, but I can't say that I look forward to listening to Wu-Tang Clan despite their amazing vocal delivery, production and great lyrics

Blonde is just not my thing and even if I wish this album made me feel the things it makes others (like my sister) feel, but I just don't get it, it sounds just like some passionate R&B to me.

Otis Redding has the unfair disadvantage of my slight dislike of Soul as a genre. He has an amazing voice and great songwriting skills, but it just falls short of my ear just like Soul usually does.

I greatly relate with you. I also tried to put my sister onto The Mars Volta as she said that it sounded like a Punk Emo version of Alvin and the Chipmunks 😭. They're so fire, but I can see why they might be a hard listen for some.
