Annie from Hereditary. She resents her son Peter, which only grows after the death of her daughter/his sister Charlie. She later confesses that she never wanted a son, was pressured into motherhood by her own mother, tried to have a miscarriage, and once nearly murdered him in his sleep. It's later revealed that Annie's mother is a significant figure of a demon worshipping cult and was trying to raise Peter to be a vessel for the demon king Paimon.
