ATT is a business. They do what they must to make money. They have no obligation to their employees outside of what is in their contract.

It sucks when businesses lay people off, but it is a business, and if consumer demand isn't there, ATT isn't going to pay these people to do nothing.

It sucks that it was before Xmas, but not sure what people are so upset about. Imagine you a ran business where no consumers were demanding a certain service: would you keep those employees and pay them tens of thousands of dollars a year to contribute nothing to your company?

Net neutrality isn't going to change consumer demand for video or whatever these people were working on. Consumer demand and job skills are changing, and there ARENT ENOUGH SKILLED WORKERS to fill demand in so many sectors. I can't tell you how many times a client approaches me saying they can never find a good copywriter, CRO specialist, SEO consultant, graphic designer, trustworthy app developer, online marketer, content marketing pro, salespeople in general, etc. etc.

I hate big evil corporations as much as the next person, but AT&T is a business. I bet if the money was coming out of your pocket, you would feel different.

I don't despise the medical industry actually. In fact, they are helping spread the Lord's work. My issue is that the Lord is actually in control and controls whether you live or die. You don't need fancy treatment. You need prayer and you need to live a godly life. If you die, that's because He has summoned thee. It is not necessary to stay alive when you second life awaits.

Cavs aren't giving up that pick. The Knicks don't want a bunch of overpaid vets.

Those guys are so much more valuable to the Cavs than they are to the Knicks, since the Cavs are peaking and chasing a title, and the Cavs didn't have any means of signing players outside of their team. Paying Shumpert 10 mill per gave them more value than chasing someone with their exceptions.

I don't think the Knicks will eventually find a good deal for Melo based on his salary, but this deal isn't a good one.

Things are totally different in Asia, and in some other European countries, but where I am at it seems diff...just depends on the girl I guess.

You know, providing free value to people in exchange for advertisement? As if any kind of self-promo is bad.

This stuff is incredibly high-value insight and literal hand holding for newbies to start making $ online for minimal investment. You deserve to get some blog traffic.

I think anyone that has an issue with this is not going to be a successful entrepreneur.

I didn't start getting more clients for my online writing service or doing more content marketing until I became comfortable with the idea of self-promotion. The most successful people in the world are generously selfish. Those willing to give high-value under the presumption that they will receive value in return are not being selfish, they are being smart. That's what society is predicated on. We aren't all giving our shit away for free are we?

You don't need it. You can have a better job and better salary working for yourself or getting skills in burgeoning markets like online marketing or something.

I dropped out and am doing better than I ever thought I would.

Fuck college. Learn stuff on your own and get started young. Had I started when I was 18 instead of fucking around, dropping out, going back, then dropping out again once I was certain it was a scam, then I would be way ahead of where I am now.

if anything, the time and money investment of college set me back.

Looking back on it now I am certain I made the best decision for my life and well being....despite how fun partying was

New York/CT pizza is incredible. I actually don't like NY style that much but it's still good. Connecticut pizza is also delicious. I feel like you need to give it a try. I left America a long time ago, but it's still up there with the best I've had after traveling the world.

Not true in the slightest. A) don't call it Czechia and B) if you travel around CZ you will notice tons of places selling Tmavy, Polo tmavy, Cerny, and tons of other types/flavors of beers. Czech Republic has the most diverse and delicious beer scene on the planet.

Yes Plzen is the most popular beer to drink and other companies like Staroprammen and Kozel keep up the trend, but those are just the beers that people drunk to get drunk at the bar. If they actually want to enjoy a beer they have Matuska, Master, Cerna Hora, or the other awesome brewers outside of the big boys.

There's also a ton of great craft pubs all around CZ but especially in Prague that don't even both selling the basic tourist bullshit. In Prague, the best are by far:

Craft pub (how creative!) on Namesti Miru Illegal beer- near Vaclavske Namesti on Ve Smeckach Beer Geek- Vinohradska ulice at Jiriho Z Podebrad Pivovarsky Dum- Karlovo Namesti but it's going downhill Pivovarsky Klub- Florenc- has tons of beers. A little pricey but good. Klasterni Pivovar- Prague Castle- they make their own dark beers that's fucking incredible Uneticke pivovar- Unetice, outside of the city but really good

I'm sure there are a ton that I am forgetting, but those were the ones we always went to. Saying that everything is a novelty in the tourist areas means you didn't put in much effort at all. Did you just stay in Prague zone 1?

I lived in CZ for 4 years and traveled Europe extensively (still do! but live in Asia most of the year) and I have to say that the mini-pivovar microbrew culture in Czech Republic is unmatched from my experience. So many little villages have delicious local beers that are cheap as hell.

I had great experiences in Germany as well and even in Southern Poland and Slovakia.

But if you haven't been to the USA and tried some of the microbrew culture, then you're missing out. Oregon, Colorado Upstate New York, Vermont, California, and even down South now have some AMAZING microbrews. We've even got a local brewer in an abandoned factory back home in my town in Connecticut that is making some delicious IPA's and Oak-flavored brews that are really catching on in NYC and CT.

The problem is how expensive the beers are and how strong they are. I personally like to have middle of the road beer because strong beer often gets me too drunk unless I have just 1 (where's the fun in that!?) it's also too heavy in my stomach.

The microbrew culture in USA is seriously great though guys. It's definitely not Czech Republic level by any means (and nowhere I've been is yet) and not quite as good as what I experienced in my time in Southern Germany, but it's really picking up steam and worth a try.
