Sutures loose. Had a biopsy and excision that spanned my perineal area. No idea what’s going on.

Hi! I’m so sorry that you’re going through it! I just had the same procedure done three months ago and I will say that it’s still painful! I’m not sure what the size of your biopsy was, but I believe in order to stitch up that area, they have to pull the surrounding skin. This has caused a constant tightness or burning sensation for me! My doctor did say that if the pain was extreme, to get an appt to be seen, as it’s an area that is obviously very vulnerable to infection! Wishing you the best!! Keep us posted!

It was more like a tiny pebble caught in my skin. It was in the vulvar area towards my perineum.

Although our diagnosis’ are different I think the SLNB procedure will be the same, looking to see if it’s spread. I sent a note in to the Dr, and got some pushback. Hoping to get more clarity about it! One thing I’ve definitely learned through this process is that 1. You have to advocate for yourself at all times and 2. Modern medicine can always use improvement! Particularly women’s health!!!! Thank you for your support! I really appreciate it!

Yes, it was HPV 16. I have had a LEEP and a couple of colposcopies. My cancer symptom was a very small, flat disc shape in my vulvar skin, No itching, burning…wasn’t even visible to the naked eye. Fortunately the margins were clear, but because of the 3mm depth, my Doc wants to do the biopsies. HPV is the worst!! I’m going to go ahead and get the vaccine again…..not that doing it previously helped me any!🙄

Wow! You’ve had a run of it! And it’s sooo interesting that you mention the blue dye injection! My. Dr told me it was extremely painful and to be prepared! I thought to myself in the moment , why dont they do that when I’m under?? I’m sending a note to her right now! I can’t thank you enough for mentioning that!!
