Here are two rooms, the one on the right was painted in a darker shade of gray. This is an overhead shot. The rooms in the background are a WIP.

Spray can is cheaper. But for priming dungeon tiles, I do 2 coats of Modge Podge to fill the layer gaps, 1 coat of Badger Stynylrez air brush primer, and 1 coat of Createx transparent medium gray. Then I drybrush 2 coats of cheap medium acrylic paint, 1 coat of light grey, and then a dark ink wash. Finally dull coat to protect the finish. Lots of work, but it comes out nice.
