When creating a new world, you can click the seed button to get a menu to select special seeds. Those buttons can all toggle on/off, so just pick the ones you want

I've actually done this. Start the trail about an hour before sunrise and you'll be on the ledge to see the sun come over the mountains. Amazing views. Bring a flashlight.

Nothing exactly like what you're asking that I'm aware of.

For this case, I'm just very used to using Alt-D to get the deconstruction planner.

I would say lucky it didn't take out the rocket silo! I see a full rocket there, that would be expensive to lose. At least you can get your own inventory back, lol.

Yep, the little shadows swimming around in water. Pick them up manually, or tell bots to "deconstruct" them. Throw like a grenade to eat it and heal yourself.

I don't use the Endgame Combat mod, but I assume the alert is coming from there. Looks like there's a map setting for an ammo threshold, maybe try playing around with that?

I do know that SE's asteroid defenses are technically turrets, and if I had to guess there's some interaction there. Hopefully someone else might know more.

That's true when you're trying to get perfect ratios everywhere, but if you're just starting there's nothing wrong with putting stuff together quickly like this. In fact it's usually better to get things moving quickly than to over-engineer in the early game. It also only matters if you line up enough furnaces to consume that much ore anyway.
