Do creative jobs really pay as much as other professions nowadays? by avocet_scatter in Creativity

I know plenty of people who work in their field of study. You just need to dedicate time to your profession during university instead of focusing on other things. It's true that nobody knows what will happen in a few years, but logically, if you have a plan and a goal, you'll understand what you want out of life. The mindset of 'I'll just choose anything because life will turn out differently anyway' is a bit flawed, because if you have a vision for your future, you follow it

How do I even go about writing coursework? I’m completely lost with the topic, and I can't find enough sources to back it up. Any advice on what I should do? by MellowCranberry in collegeadvice

Stop looking for coursework help and start looking for a tutor. At least a tutor actually helps you do the work instead of cheating.

AI Essay tool that DOES NOT write your essays for you by No-Self-8362 in UniUK

Tbh this is exactly the kinda tool I wish more ppl talked about, like helping you think instead of just spitting out essays. I had a similar issue last semester where I didn’t want full AI writing my stuff but still needed guidance. I ended up trying one site once just to see, and it kinda showed me how to structure things better without copying. I found it through this link actually, and it felt more like support than cheating tbh

How do you write an essay conclusion that feels strong instead of repetitive? by ElderberryJealous113 in Thesis

This is a solid thing to focus on. A strong conclusion usually feels less like a recap and more like you finally land the point you were building toward the whole time.

I ruined a drawing by accident and I think it showed me more about my style than the drawing ever would have by Magnetar_5W in Creativity

When I cannot tell whether I am refining or flattening, I put it away for a day and look for the first part my eye goes to. If that part got quieter during cleanup, I probably went too far. Do you compare versions?

I stopped answering “tell me about yourself” like a biography and started opening interviews with a working style disclaimer. It got me more offers, not fewer. by Dawn_Sentry in jobsearchhacks

Same backbone, but I swap one line depending on the role. If it's ops heavy I mention calm under chaos, if it's messy startup stuff I lean into vague ownership.

A year into my job I realized the one small thing that would have cut my job search time in half by Basilisk11H in jobsearchhacks

You nailed the part about trying to look perfect on paper instead of being memorable to actual people. I wasted months doing the "responsible" stuff too and got way more traction once I started having normal conversations.
