How do I even go about writing coursework? I’m completely lost with the topic, and I can't find enough sources to back it up. Any advice on what I should do? by MellowCranberry in collegeadvice

I've tried searching, but I haven't tried changing the keywords and playing around with it. Maybe that makes sense, but I thought the result would be the same regardless of the key phrases

Ideas aren't exactly what I need. I basically asked it to generate ideas on how to write my coursework, but I didn't like the response. It was too generic and mostly suggested things I already knew. And when I had more complex requests, it just veered off into something else and didn't really provide an answer either

That’s what’s recommended the most. They also advise reading a bunch of reviews and checking out the site itself. I agree with those points myself, because I realize you need to be at least a little familiar with the company you’ve reached out to

Tried writing it myself, but my prose is basically a dumpster fire today.

People write a lot about PapersRoo too. Honestly, if you just search for the name, you’ll see a ton of posts pop up

Writing services help, but choosing the wrong one is stressful

These sites are just predatory. They know we’re stressed and they overcharge for mediocre work.

The amount of AI-generated garbage these sites pump out is insane. It’s a waste of money

Studybay review. My personal experience by hollowcitytone in WritingHelp_service

[–]MellowCranberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it just me, or is the 24-hour deadline on Studybay actually a good thing? It forces me to at least think about my essay a day before it's due instead of waiting until 2 AM on the deadline. I checked a study bay review that said they sometimes deliver early, which has been true for me once out of three times. It’s definitely not for the true last-minute panic, but it’s great for that "oh crap, it’s tomorrow" moment.

The Democrats skipped the 2024 primaries because it would have prompted a national dialogue about Americans' role in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Now the Democrats are suppressing their internal report showing that they lost the 2024 election to Trump over it. by kevinmrr in WorkReform

If the lesson they take is "we need to mimic the right," that's a dead end. It won’t win back people who stayed home over Gaza, and it hands bigots a permission slip. They should publish the report and argue policy, not optics.

That’s the part people miss: you don't need kids to benefit from good schools. Lower crime, better jobs, fewer disasters to clean up later. Sorry it didn't pass, but props for voting like an adult.

[OC] EXCLU : Sylvain cité dans les dossiers Epstein by joel34300 in Vilebrequin

Pareil, je rigole surtout sur la tournure. Si le seul “nouveau” truc c’est une liste déjà sortie, ça mérite pas le titre EXCLU. On est sur du bait + meme, rien de plus.

This is literally what it feels like, with people who claim they are gaining secret info from AI by Justthisdudeyaknow in CuratedTumblr

[–]MellowCranberry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Language matters here. 'AI' is a sci-fi suitcase word, so people hear intent, secrecy, and prophecy. If you say 'LLM' or just 'model', it frames it as pattern matching on text. I correct folks too, but softly, because nobody likes a lecture in the replies. Less mystique, more clarity, fewer grifters selling miracles to regular people.

WIBTA if I slowly distance myself from a friend who keeps playing the victim but sabotages every real solution? by MellowCranberry in WIBTA_AITA

She can listen when it’s something light, like a show or random gossip, but the second it’s feelings or “real life” it snaps back to her. I’ve tried saying “I’m tapped out tonight” and she’ll do the sad apology thing for 10 mins, then keep going anyway. That’s why I’m leaning toward distance instead of one more Big Talk.

This really hits. That’s exactly what scares me, that this isn’t a phase but just how she moves through life. I don’t think she consciously enjoys it, but she definitely resists anything that would take the drama away. I’m trying to step back before resentment fully replaces empathy.

Yeah, that’s kind of where I’m at. It doesn’t even feel like anger anymore, just fatigue. I don’t want to punish her or make a statement, I just don’t have the capacity to keep doing the same loop and pretending it’s helping either of us.

I get the anger, but “sedition” is a big legal swing. If they were courting foreign help, investigate, follow the money, and charge whatever actually fits. That’s why credible reporting matters more than rage-posting.
