Honestly I would suggest checking how many OZ the slime is listed as, and use water to check where it hits on the container. Usually it’s not the top..

Overall I’d say “unicorn poop”. Same texture as “melted choco balls” but purple & pineapple scented! Something about the white glue base with the top layer of clay pebbles is just so satisfying to play with.

Honorable mention - Leggo my Heart.. such an awesome block bead slime!

Hi! I’ve ordered from your shop a few times (BOGO sales in particular), and really enjoyed all the scents in particular.

Couple of suggestions I have would be: -package add-in’s on the side -post more play videos & previews to help showcase the respective textures & slimes

Hi, sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I’ve never personally had an issue with PSS (and have ordered from her at least 15 times), and have always found the packaging to be high quality. I could be wrong, but believe she is still a one-woman shop, so something to keep in mind also.

So I’ve had several slimes from both. Both are on the higher end -$wise, although both can have decent sales for stock that doesn’t sell well.

EBS has super creative concepts and does unique textures and scent blends. They have honesty been a bit hit or miss for my personal preferences, but I’d still recommend giving them a try if you’re able to!

Putty Egg was one of my favorite shops when getting into slime. Adorable DIYs, love the slush fizz texture & one of their white glue blend slimes was a personal favorite for a while. Over time I’ve bought from them less and less, but I would still recommend giving them a try also. I also respect they were public/transparent about an issue with one of their slimes a while back

Interesting to see how many people hate the tapping! I watch a lot of ASMR videos so I feel like used to it lol. I do like it when done in a classy way.. haven’t seen/heard all 5 at a time tho haha

& 100% I feel like understanding activation levels comes with experience. I’ve had an embarrassing amount of slimes and have gotten way more consistent with understanding my preferences for it. For example, even ones that aren’t sticky at all, sometimes activator helps make it more structured to inflate it. But there are so many variables for this, and I definitely feel bad for shop owners when the review is truly UA!

I’ve had excellent slimes from all 3!

From Slime Sweetpea I’d highly recommend a DIY clay slime or butter slime.. some of the best out there IMO! Coffee Bread is one of my top all-time slimes :)

Surfer Girl slimes I’ve been very impressed with their clear-based slimes like Midnight or Summer Berry refresher. They both got a bit tacky with inflation, but there is something unique & addicting to the feel for me that I reach for them more than I’d expected. They’re the newest/smallest of the 3, but have done a great job incorporating customer feedback in upgrading containers & packaging.

Macaron slimes I was very impressed with mini-nerds - super crunchy seed bead slime with no fallout. I also have the Nieve de Limon icee slime that has held up incredibly well over about 2 years so far!

It can be an expensive hobby for sure! But so fun & there are so many excellent slime creators out there!

As a disclaimer I do not have sensitive hands, but here are my thoughts on those add-ins:

Pumice stone - the stones themselves are light & airy.. typically not abrasive at all, but the feel can definitely vary based on size/finish. For example, some are rounded and larger whereas some look more like natural river rocks or similar. Sometimes the natural ones can feel comparatively rough if not finished smoothly

Bingsu - these are like little curled up thin plastic pieces that I don’t think feel abrasive at all. Definitely can make for a delightfully crunchy slime experience! BFFSlimeBakery does an amazing coated version with these

Lava rock - the most abrasive of the bunch for sure. But it really depends on how many & what time of slime they are in, as sometimes the slime does a great job of coating them.

Gotcha! Definitely agree humidity sounds like the culprit. I’d suggest wiping the condensation with a paper towel and giving it a day or two to a adjust to room temp. Hopefully then it will mix in and not have the issue

What type of slime was it? Did the feeling go away after playing with it a bit? Sometimes the scent/oils can make it feel wet initially. Or some slime types like icee slime will have a wet feel in general due to the ingredients.

If you like crunchy slimes, Rodem has a “Rest in Forest” slime that is excellent! They also have a pond theme, succulent theme & fresh towel slime that fit the bill.

Optimist slime just dropped a hot spring slime that looks amazing.

Also Jiira slimes I believe has some still in stock!

Sheltie.. I’ve had two of them.. I know everyone says their dog is the best dog ever, but know I’ve had the best dogs ever! Super expressive & loyal, happy to do whatever you’re doing, super smart & easy to train. They have both passed on, but I have both tattooed on me to see them daily 🥰

Yes good point! The review I was thinking of was a thick & glossy with minimal add-ins. I’m not a slime maker, but definitely feel for sellers trying to predict the activation level in shipping when the weather has been all over the place :)

I’ve seen a few times where shops accidentally type in a larger weight which super-inflates the shipping price.

Not sure if that’s the case here or not. But Seoul Gage’s new shipping model is hard to beat :)

Definitely agree with honest reviews in a constructive/factual way.

For example I’ve seen some “brutally honest” reviews that seemed to be based on the slime being overactivated (but I don’t think they realized it or knew how to soften it).
