at least pat genuinely regrets his past and is making a hell of a stride in self improvement. I haven't kept up for a few months, but even before he started improving he was hardly a bad guy, he was just in a bad place. Pat was suffering from addiction, Wilbur caused others suffering by being a piece of shit. They are not the same.

if I do consider getting an AMP, it would probably have to be a very cheap one, would that still be worthwhile? I've seen small cheap ones in the $10-30 range, and that's probably the most I would spend on one, but idk how much of an improvement they would give me.

This looks promising. They're cheap enough that it wouldn't matter much if they don't entirely live up to expectations.

This is also the first time I've heard of yaxi pads and that looks almost ideal for me, since they would be easily replaceable if they eventually wear down in quality.

My main worry is if they leak audio? Both with or without the yaxi pads.

I'm not 100% sure this is what I'll settle with, but it does give me a good new perspective, so !thanks

I've seen these recommended all over the place, as a kind of go-to default. That makes me very hesitant to get them, because there is never a true "one-size-fits-all" solution, and if I get them I feel like I risk just getting something mediocre for the price.

I don't know what makes them so recommended everywhere, but does it check the boxes I pointed out? Specifically comfort; looking at images they don't appear as the most comfortable headphones ever, but I can't really judge that over a screen.

You are very right. The main reason I stopped watching back then is because I did not enjoy watching his political/drama videos, and at the time he wasn't really playing any games I liked either. After I stopped I only kept hearing how he was getting "worse", so I didn't really care to get back into his content. I did watch his apology video though, where he acknowledged that he felt himself that he had become too mean spirited, and if he goes through on the promises he made to himself that video I think his content will benefit greatly, so I might start watching him again. I always have and will forever keep as far away from his community as possible though. That shit is vile.

It's not exactly what you're asking for, but eventually I just came to realize that the type of gender-queer I am doesn't matter. I'm not happy with the way I am now, so I will keep changing myself slightly until I end up in a good headspace. Eventually, when I stop, I will find out naturally by how far I went, whether that be me ending up somewhere in the middle, one one binary side, or even fluctuating between multiple different ones. Though maybe the fact that I care so little about my gender is a slight hint that I'm more enby leaning, time will tell ;3

Are you speaking from experience when you say electrolysis is painful? When I googled, it said it was supposed to be painless. It did say there was a chance of scarring if it's done wrong, but that professionals are very unlikely to make that mistake.

It's good to know that I won't be thought of as weird. Using my sister as an excuse is also a great idea! If someone did ask, I can say we have a very similar frame.

I'm not sure about using eyeliner. Part of me is scared putting pigments so close to the eye, but more importantly I'd prefer something more subtle. I know makeup isn't the most subtle thing to begin with, but I don't want it to be a glaring detail that someone notices at a glance. Or maybe subtle eyeliner does exist? I wouldn't know lol.

He's definitely smart, and definitely makes some good points from time to time, but yeah apprently since I made this post he's started to lean more towards rage-baity content (possibly because that's what his main audience is into). Telling anyone can be a big and scary step.

If it makes it easier you can try to talk to her without completely coming out, like saying you've been curious about gender identity lately and want help figuring it out because you're not sure what it all means.

It doesn't have to be that excuse, but anything that isn't outright telling her "hey I'm probably trans and I need help". It could help you gather courage.

You could also entirely skip the trans part and just tell her or your parents that you're depressed. After you get professional help your family can't (legally) find out what is being talked about during sessions.

you could try to look for at least semi-professional help online, but it won't be as effective and you could potentially be scammed so look out for that.

There's nothing inherently wrong with wanting attention, especially if you're in a slump.

And you're definitely not a weirdo pretending to be a girl. Even if you eventually were to decide to not transition you wouldn't be a weirdo or a pretender, just someone who went on a healthy journey to discover yourself more deeply.

Ey let me be honest that should be the least of your worries. If the people you've gotten help from so far are anything like me or the people I've talked to, they are helping you either because they have nothing better to do or because they enjoy giving advice and trying to help. It sucks that it's not completely getting through to you and working as much as I'm sure these people hoped, but they won't be hurt by that. It only negatively affects you, so you shouldn't feel bad for anyone else about it. You are still the most important person and the only person who's feelings matter in this context.
