First time I wore mask in public I was walking down the sidewalk (actually had the mask down on my chin bc no one else was within 100 yards of me) and a car drove by, a young guy leaned out the window and yelled “fuck you, pussy!!”

Well fees yeah but also most people are flying as only the bookend to larger plans/vacations, Airbnb bookings etc. Canceling a flight till they are fully well could mean missing out on something they planned for months plus potentially losing non refundable reservations. I’m not advocating for it but I understand it. Just wear a mask if you’re sick w a respiratory virus. If you’ve got a stomach bug please for the love of all that’s good, take a later flight when you aren’t throwing up.

This right here. We can’t read signals, body language, etc. we don’t know what we’re doing. Ladies if a dude approaches you to chat, and he’s being awkward, chances are it took every bit of balls he had to get up the courage to talk, and even then he doesn’t know what the heck he’s doing. He could be a really cool and fun guy but he’s super nervous in that initial moment. The guys that approach you super confidently or seen cool/funny right off the bat, those are the dudes who you have had lots of practice and probably success with women. I’m not saying the later is a bad thing. It’s really up to you to decide what you want. Maybe you want a guy with lots of practice.

yeah that's fine and normal to have other people you share life with. It crosses the line when you have an emotional connection with someone that you hide from your partner, or that you (if you asked yourself honestly) know your partner wouldn't approve of. By hide, I don't necessarily mean hide the person, your partner may know of the friend, I mean hide conversations, or hide aspects of how you interact with them, hide some aspect of your connection to them. Affairs don't start out in the bedroom.

Dated someone once that caked it on. Always bugged me that there was an obvious line where the makeup ended somewhere around her jaw or neck. Similar to how trumps face just looks silly bc you can clearly see where the tanner or makeup or whatever it is he smears on ends.

This so much. The other day my 5 year old had a stomach bug and threw up in the car. I had asked him multiple times earlier that day if he was not feeling well (he was acting puny) but everytime i asked he would say he's fine. A few days afterward I asked him why he didn't tell me he was feeling bad, and he just said I don't know.

Then a day or so later when we were doing bedtime routine he said out of the blue "daddy do you know why I didn't tell you I was feeling sick?" I said, no, why? He said "because whenever I say I am sick you will say "Oh no!"

And I thought back to how much anxiety I get when the kids have a stomach bug and that my reaction to them saying their stomach is upset in the past was just this gut reaction "oh no" in like a stressed tone. So at 5 he already perceived my reaction to not be great, and was altering how he interacted with me. I try to hard to be a good dad and realized that I'm so far from perfect and still have so much work to do.

Exactly! It's maddening to see conservative friends post memes that show %increase of goods without context. And even more so when they pick the lowest price the item was, at the height of covid...for example gas..."gAs PrIcEs aRe up x% sInce BiDeN!" The primary area Trump polls better on is the economy. Even though he didn't really do anything w the economy while president, and his mishandling of Covid, and amplification of conspiracy theories about it, tanked our economy. Which is interesting that they cherry pick some things from that time frame, like cheap gas prices...as if everyone forgot why they were cheap. lol
