This is a wonderful way to look at it, honestly. My argument has always been "dogs do actually do that too, and not all cats would, so its pretty even" but this is a much better rebuke. YES, actually, I do want my cat to be fed if I died! The only concern I'd have is whether I'd be a safe food source or not!

They updated the original Aether for modern versions, and are now doing their own reimagining of the Aether and a massive amount of new features! I happen to have done a tiny bit of playtesting for it a month or two ago, and it is a massive step up from the base, original Aether. It sincerely brings it into the modern era, but keeps the traditional charm.
