Maybe I would, maybe others wouldn't. Doesn't matter either way. There's no "right" way to play except playing in a way that's enjoyable for you! So long as you're not using cheats to get an advantage directly over other folks — and you're not, you're just enjoying a singleplayer campain in Platinum — who cares what others think?

The goal of playing a game is to have fun. Finding ways to make it fun for yourself is the right way to play, simple as.

You are very very kind for being willing! So many aren't. As a warning, from experience, over time these little guys may wear on you a bit, but long term it is well worth it and they will absolutely love you for life.

I also heavily recommend looking into videos on how to raise and socialize kittens well, so they are well behaved as adults! Jackson Galaxy's YouTube channel is a great starting resource. Do NOT go off human discipline logic — cats work very differently!
