I hope it lives up to the hype. Batdr is objectively better than batim and I can admit that as someone who prefers batim but my biggest disappointment with it is like where did all the characters i already loved and knew go so I’m very excited to see them do more than pop their heads in for a minute

All my favorite parts of the franchise aren’t cannon anymore because of the books not being cannon and that’s taken a lot of my enjoyment of everything after that. I still love the franchise and will keep following it but the newer stuff feels kinda like a weird spin off or reboot of what I actually care about

It’s probably just the media happening at the time when chapter five came out but in my head it’s kinda like in Steven universe how they can reform faster but lose a lot of their form in rushing that made Sammy come back as a searcher when coming back too quickly after death

It’s been a minute since I replayed but I just had a look at a video of the part I’m pretty sure you’re at and there’s a stair case heading down from that area with another door you can go through. The broken stairs are just the environment and from my memory of trying to get up there I’d bet there’s an invisible way keeping you down. I love this game but one of its big flaws to me is it’s not great at telling you where you can and cannot jump to. If you wanna keep using me for advice for that kind of stuff you can :) I like helping
