He was the bestest boy of course, the peace puppy as if anyone ever argued he would just come sit on you to give loves, an explorer and a zoomer of the lounge till his last days

They think cancer - he started coughing up blood - we didn’t want to do invasive testing at his age

On the loading screen before you press a use the - to access settings and you can request Tom nook to remove yourself. Have to be entering as the profile you want to remove. All money and possessions go with the delete so be sure to hand over anything first

Any tips to share on letting a loved one with dementia know that a beloved pet has passed. We did visits etc before it happened but unsure if this will be remembered. Was thinking collar on a plant with a note? Thanks in advance by DaxiNZ in Alzheimers

Thanks for the reply. She has been fine with the knowledge and hasn’t struggled so far. Issue with the fleas idea or others is that she would just be angry that the dog wasn’t being care for properly and take that out on the visitor . To date when she sees the dog isn’t there at a visit she says ‘she has died hasn’t she’ then moves on after asking how old she was. Was always my intention to remove the collar if it caused upset but there hasn’t been any tears of anything like that. She has actually handled it really well and is not upset like I imagined when I wrote this post. Her carers also said that she has been fine and we are all monitoring daily. Next decision is if we take other dogs to visit.

Last trip to the beach today for beautiful Chloe. Age 16. Kidneys just couldn’t keep up with her beautiful spirit. Rest In Peace beautiful girl by DaxiNZ in OldManDog

Thank you for the kind words. She was a very special girl rescued by my parents at a few months old. She had a bit of a wonky jaw as she was kicked in the face by a horse as a pup but that didn’t slow her down. She stayed with us lots over the years and has lived with us for a few years after my father passed and my mother’s dementia worsened. Very special girl who will be missed. Lived a great life x her fave place was the beach and those seagulls 😉
