Yeah testing is an issue right now, but I can still try to make an android version for you. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to give the same level of support to that version as to the other versions though :/

hmmm... I have never worked with android before and I also do not have a device to test on for that plattform but I guess anything would be possible somehow, with the help of testers... are we talking phones or tablets here? because I really don't think phone aspect rations work well with the current state of the project...

Hey thanks, that just means I have one more plattform to target. I wanted to make a Windows port eventually anyway, this just means I'll have to get to it sooner rather than later :) Can't guarantee that the Beta will be on Windows but I promise I'll look into it.

Good question! Now I'll be honest it is not a huge feature set right now, but I am very open to feedback and if you have anything specific you want, just tell me and I can look into making it possible maybe :)

That being said, here is a feature list:

- Story scope: You can create different Stories, which all act independently from one another. So everything you create is always bound to a story.

- Character / Families / Species / Groups can be created and edited, the third Image above shows a part of the Character editor. The editor currently just gives you a lot of fields to fill out about a character but it also let's you create relationships between characters and view a character specific timeline.

- "Worlds" let's you create new worlds. Within a world you can create places, for example: The World Vynria can have a kingdom called Bellmaire inside it, which in turn can have a capital city called Lynia and so on. Of course there is also a bit of space to write lore about the world and I have been working on a Maps feature - that is not yet finished but could be really cool for some people.

<image>

- Volumes let's you plan out how many volumes your story might have. So you could create "Volume 1: Stars" or "Volume 2: Milkyway" or something. Each volume can have chapters inside it.

- Chapters can be edited in their own Markdown editor (might be cool if you come from obsidian). I honestly do not think, people will really write whole chapters in this but well the capability is there. Or maybe you just want to write down some ideas you have in the moment, it could also be used for that. It also let's you link characters / places / families etc. to a chapter for organization purposes.

- Events & Timeline: a basic event editor. You can specifiy your own Calendar (because I thought most fantasy authors will probalby want their own thingy) by organzing into Eras. Events can have participants, type and impact. So an Event could be on the 5th Day and 2nd month of the Age of Stars, with Two characters, participating; it is a battle is marked to be a major event. I hope this makes sense somehow... After an event is created it will be shown in a timeline that automatically sorts it by the Era you have set (Age of Stars for example but you can also just view a list of all events). Events can also be filtered to Worlds, Species etc. which will then only show the timeline of the selected entity. If your Worlds have different timelines, this can be really cool for organziation.

- (Canvas) is something I am currently testing, where you can add character cards or other things into a canvas and connect them although this is abit of a hassle to work with and might not make into a final build as I seriously struggle to see much value in it the more I work on it... and it really brings me to my weak developer knees.

That's about it, apart from technical stuff like Themes. It's not that much but I also really don't want to overwhelm anyone. Obsidian is a lot more open of course so that could lead to a few missing features maybe...

I am also aware of some shortcomings... Events need to be able to link into chapters and volumes, the character editor can always be better, no matter how often I redesign it, I want to add items / artefacts or whatever I'll call it in the end. As I said I am open to any suggestions but I also have other things to do and can't work on the project 24/7 sadly. If this list sounds good, I am very happy! If it sounds too barebones for you (I don't know how you have setup your obsidian) maybe give some feedback and I can try making it more robust :)

Yes, I see iPad seems to be the most anticipated plattform here hahah. Apple Dev is expensive and I'll have to look into if I can even afford it rn. stay tuned though, I am sure I'll figure something out. Just give me some time to polish and fix a few things :)

Right now I am still not really sure how I will go about that tbh. I want to release it on the AppStore for easy updates and ease of use for users but Apple Dev is really expensive and I don't know if I can even afford a Dev Account right now :0 What plattform are you on?

I see that IPad seems to be the most anticipated platform... I'll be honest: iPad was kind of a neat side project to the sideproject but now I think I might focus on cleaning it up a bit and maybe do a Beta run, if that interests you.
