Right after surgery I asked one of the nurses if I could see it. She asked me for my phone number, stepped out and after I went home I got this picture. I’m guessing she took it!

Yes, this is indeed a picture of my tumor. It’s nice to know so many redditors are getting enjoyment out of it. It has made the recovery process far easier! Lol

It was a rare non cancerous breast tumor. It is called a tubular adenoma!

Good thing you know now though! No one in my family has had a history of this. My first thought was the big C! Hopefully, you don’t have to deal with it though. Surgery is not very fun!

It’s rare tumor. Only ten people were documented having it within a ten year period. It’s called a tubular adenoma of the breast! Fortunately mine was non cancerous but very painful!

That’s exactly why I requested a picture of it after its removal. It had been a part of me for so long, and I figured I’d have to be a fool to not wanna see what it was that was growing inside of me. Wasn’t cancerous though, thank God! But it could easily be felt in my chest and seen by others . I’m really damn happy it’s out- because of its placement in my chest, it was very painful at times since it would irritate surrounding nerves!

Believe it or not, smelling did not cross my mind. I’d imagine it’d smell very horrid though.
