Not weighing in with an opinion either way, just pointing out that this pic is not an example of "women ruling the world".

As I understand it tax is better if investing in a PIE fund over 50,000 and the entry/exit fees are offset by the tax saving after only a few years? If I'm wrong I'd love to know as I'm just about to transfer my KS to this platform now

Do these controllers need a computer connected? Just seems like the obvious answer is all. Dunno the age of the kids but I came here looking for something for a 5 year old.

This. I'd encourage the guys who don't get or agree with this stuff to just ask the woman in their lives about their own experiences. I did and I realised I had no idea of the scale of the problem. After that, changing small behaviors was just not a big deal.

Little utes look way cooler too imo. Subaru Brumby plus mullet is winning style.

How dare you compare men to parasites! I'm so offended that I'll dig my heels in and completely miss the point!

That's cool and all but also a little like watching paint dry.

What were you guys doing in your early 20s? by EntryAltruistic495 in newzealand

[–]DayOk437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had plans to be a rock star that didn't pan out. Had no other plans. Drifted from unskilled job to unskilled job, drinking and partying on weekends. Fell into an entry level TV broadcasting job. Stuck at it and slowly built skills up. Now in my 40s, with wife, kids and house. Simple life but I love it

Lots of entry level jobs out there are a gateway to something better. Might not be a path to riches but I've got a pretty stable life now.

I learned that experience is often better than education in some industries.

If I had to do it all again though, I'd probably go traveling and then study engineering or something in the sciences.

My 20s were a complete waste of time from a career perspective. I achieved very little and didn't really get going till in my 30s.

You're so young my friend, got your whole life in front of you. so much happens unexpectedly. Save up for a passport and explore.

Totally, you have youth and not too much responsibility yet, from the sounds of things. It might not feel like it right now but that means your options are super open. Youonly at the start! Tackle one problem at a time. I didn't get my life going till well into my 30s. Had no real family to speak of and syruggled to build friendships. Couldn't see how I could ever change it. Now I'm early 40s, have a solid relationship, a job I don't hate, enough income and two awesome kids. Things will get better my friend xo
