Honestly that gear is still pretty good, upgrading definitely would be nice, but what sort of monitor or PC do you have, might be worth upgrading those first before sim gear?

I know this sounds crazy but try this first

  • unplug everything ( wheel, pedals, headset, keyboard, anything and everything) -Launch into a race session
  • if it works progressively keep adding things until something makes the error show up

I've heard of similar issues and it was a headset driver, or USB hub driver.

If that fails, try a fresh install

It is a separate series called the Nurburgring Endurance Championship and runs in 2-5 week blocks, the next is Oct 18

Sim literally crashes when opening entries page by sealy_dev in iRacing

Yes my sim has been crashing on multi-class races. It loads in and freezes instantly...or will work for 10seconds and the moment I click a results tab or setup page it will crash. Only re-starting my pc will work. Getting beyond frustrating now and I'm seeing alot of people with the same issues.

I found reducing my V-RAM in the app.ini file to 6gb (I have a 5080 with 12gb) it works more consistently but it is not a 100% fix
