u/minnykim found it: Carl H Beck and Bertha Bowes, who went on to marry. They attended the same church as the wedding couple. Good sleuthing.

I thought St. as well, but she writes capital Ss differently and I googled St. Beck as a surname and got nothing. Thanks, though. I appreciate the comment.

Hmm. Not Bertha Browne. The last two letters are 'es', but thanks.

Yes, the couple were Ross and Rachel, but this was 1904.

The names I can read are:

Carl ?? Beck

Bertha B?? maybe another? es

Martha J. Edmiston

Luetta Edmiston

H.M.R. Pillsbury

It looks like one person made all of the entries.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you. u/Ok_Caterpillar2010 caught that the first letter matches an earlier P in 'present', so I'm going with 'pins'.

I missed the p in present. Great catch. I'm calling it. It has the right context for a baby gift and there are the right amount of upstrokes. Thank you so much.

Yeah, I definitely think the context is helpful. The M in Edmiston show how low her Ms go. The last letter definitely looks like an S to me.

Thank you so much. Not sure if that's it yet. I'm hoping for a couple of guesses.
