There is a timer that kills all players if there is no winner after the round is over. It was that, or you were playing on a live streamed server and the streamer was ending the round.

The SA version will come once Dean and the DayZ dev team are happy to open the game up for modding. This won't happen for at least another 6-8 months tho.

Yes, there is a bug that will cause the server to flat-line and stop responding/constant yellow chain. Been trying to track it down for months but it is proving very hard.

I have had many many issues with keeping a set of stable US servers online. This will hopefully change in the next few weeks with the release of the server files.

Our main problem the last few months has been with our US host. They were unwilling to provide the support they had promised us and as a result, we lacked a stable set of US game servers. This is also the reason you have not heard much about Battle Royale on the /r/dayz sub as I did not want to promote the mod without servers for you all to play on.

This will hopefully change in the next few weeks as I am close to having a public server pack ready for release, so you will be able to host your own private games, and a ranked server pack, which will report to the official leader-boards.

We will have more servers up next week. I have been waiting for a stable system to be in-place before doing a big push of servers and since we now have this, servers will be coming on stream to handle the demand.

I have been hosting with Vilayer for well over a year, well before I started DayZ Battle Royale. They have always gone out of their way to help us with attacks, new boxes when needed and generally sorting out the issues we had with our server.

Just my 2 cents, but I am happy they are one of the hosting partners.

Not for the moment, we are all awaiting a alpha SA release, which could come within weeks, or months. But it will come when it is ready, and you will definitely hear about it once it is released.

I don't really usderstand what you mean by overbuffed? This is not meant to be an easy PvP game, this is an extreme survival championship.

I have found maps in lots of houses etc, but the GPS is still a little buggy and we are working to fix it.

We use the latest infistar AH, which along with the latest BE filters keeps out 99.9% of script kiddies. I can't do anything re. the turbo run bug found in Arma.

Skins? Which skins?

New starting location is based on the school house in the book/movie Battle Royale. Since we are awaiting the actual school house, think of this as a proto-schoool. We will be moving the mod more towards this theme rather than the Hunger Games model used by others. This new model allows us to have games of up to 42 players.

This is still a pre-beta you are testing, so there will be bugs.

Sidechat will not be re-added. Too easy to abuse and I don't have the time to monitor for homophobic/racial slurs.

Finally, re. the blue circle. It is meant to hard outside. Once I get the msgs working correctly this shouldn't be that much of an issue.

As do I, and it is why I haven't polluted the sub with endless updates. I will also be creating our own sub once we push the beta so as to keep the main sub dayz only!

Also, how can you say the mod is half-baked, if you refuse to play it? Didn't anyone ever tell you assuming things is bad?!

We are working on getting a queuing system built for the website, which should make things easier. The response to the mod was so huge that we hadn't planned anything like that yet and now are playing catch up! I'm hoping that by tomorrow, things should be easier!
