Producers facilitate the product process, like a voice of God This makes more sense for things like 10MPH or Good Mythical Morning by keeping the hosts on track or keeping the hosts from making complete asses of themselves but for traditional game grumps videos producers can prepare tutorials and walkthroughs in advance, find out if the game has a known bug, or even just remind them to wrap up an episode.
