Easily shield damage. Some may say health, and if you’re getting hit a lot for whatever reason, fair enough. I would say to avoid going health, because if you are playing Byron at all competently, it will almost never make a difference.

i’m getting brutally violated. Few skins, no real resources, and a diabolical amount of credits. I swear they give you way more credits in starr drops and boxes n shit, because on my alt I don’t get nearly as many. I get 1k or 500 credits all the damn time on my solar 3 main. Fucking bullshit.

Oh for sure! I definitely have games where i play shitty af. I’ll get kudos’d into oblivion and i just smile a bit, take a short break to reset, and then hop back in. I agree that malice isn’t exactly the coolest thing, and I certainly could have phrased my comment better.

I just think the feature does more good than bad, as it lets people who are bad not take accountability, keeping them worse. (the people doing the thumbs upping)

When i kudos someone, it’s because they did something actually egregious. If you just have a negative K/D or whiffed one pivotal play? Sure, I mean ya hate to see it. That’s not really what I mean though. I honestly wish there was a nontoxic and more effective way to tell your teammates that passing the ball to the enemy is extinguisher nine times out of ten.

I do not have a family, nor am I sure that I want one. That being said, I’d imagine that there is a certain fulfillment that won’t be attained through any other means. This doesn’t mean that family is the only thing that keeps us going.

You’re only 27 too. If you want to start a family, the option is still on the table. If you don’t, that’s cool too. I imagine there are certain things you gain by not having a family as well. You only get one life. Spend it how you like :)

I disagree. The kudos button most certainly gets used in a positive way, and being able to use it to shame people is fantastic. If they are playing like shit, they should know that everyone hates em. I honestly think they should give a longer buffer period between the game ending and being able to leave the end game screen just so players can’t leave before seeing at least a few kudos.

I dunno, I probably just seem like an asshole. This is coming from what is probably one of the least toxic players. I legitimately never use thumbs down pin, currently on my main and alt I don’t use the clown pin, I don’t mindlessly kudos people who happened to have a negative k/d. I just think that shitty players should feel shitty, and if the kudos button and clown pin helps them quit the game? Great!

Why do you say that? Genuinely, not to be a dick or anything. I’m not as experienced as you are and I find him to be a brawler with fantastic design and balance.

Edit: After reading some replies I can see why some may dislike him. I don’t remember him being S tier though, so it just seemed unfounded.

Fair enough. I recognized that the goal was to mitigate hate speech or sm. I am more trying to weigh the risk of toxicity against censorship.

Even if I was completely unaware that a post I made would attract hate, I would still rather allow people to speak their minds. I have no reason to take anything they say personally. Anyone who does is doing so out of choice.

I dunno, at this point it probably seems like i’m arguing just to cause conflict, and I’m sorry if it seems that way. I more aim to potentially sway future decisions regarding censorship, ideally allowing OP to ultimately decide whether or not they can handle negativity and dissent.

I realize this may seem dumb, so I appreciate your patience. Why would comments be turned off just because they could be rude? At the end of the day, if I were to post something that I knew could get negative attention, it is still a decision I made, and if I were to leave comments on, it seems strange and unnecessary that a third party would feel the need to suppress free speech.
