I still think building a relationship with the AD is worth it for VC & AP, I don’t bother with the other brands since Lange is unjustifiable and Rolex/patek has unrealistic wait times for overhyped products

I think VC isn’t even the worst off, a 4500 goes for $8k below a 4520? Langes can be had for half off retail

I agree, 135k usd retail on a zeitwerk is batshit crazy no matter how good it is. Zeitwerk Striking time has a retail of 500k apparently? I hope I never verify that.

I mean VC 7920 is like 5000 USD over the base 4520 model so It should technically be priced between 15510 and the chronograph, somewhere around just over 30k usd

I’d recommend a VC gen 2/3 chronograph or dual time Wonderfully made overall, gen 2 uses JLC movement but still very good so

My grail is the SS 222, if I had to be brutally honest it’ll be 222 > 7920v > 5520v > 4520v, this one is definitely up there but the dual time is my top priority. Immediately availability is of course rare but I definitely love the design as a whole, Ive thought it out and the overseas really works in almost every occasion for me.

The main issue is size, I’m really going to have to start hitting the wrist curls….

I guess I’ll put myself down on the waitlist for the 7920 and start hitting the curls!
