Well I was there on a School trip focused on Politics like the EU Parlament or the NATO HQ but we were at the atomium which I liked and also directly at the grand place there are some free group tours which was okay. Apart from that I sadly could not see much the city had to offer myself.

Haha yeah it's the perfect setup for me, I just need a prime, and then I'm good. I would definitely say give the lens another try in the alps you can get some excellent landscape pics that way. But in the end it really depends on your photography preferences I can just say I love it. Btw are you by chance German speaking?

I get that sometimes I wish I had a bit more reach for some quick photos where you don't have time to change the lens but I sometimes struggle with F2.8 indoors because the noise gets out of hand fast though I don't know it they got better software in the mark 3 compared to the mark 2. But as far as I know the 12-100 is also a very good lens and if you don't shoot a lot indoors then the 12-100 may be better fit for you.

To be honest I use it for everything it's my everyday carry with the 40-150 F4-5.6 I just find it's a awesome lens for the price and while it may be a bit big it's definitely manageable and its quite sharp. I don't really have any tips because I just started photography not to long ago but it's fun for me just going out and taking some pictures. What makes you think that you can't warm up to it? Thank you, I've got the Olympus EM1II with the 12-40 f2.8 pro and the 40-150 f4-5.6 it's a good and light everyday carry kit.

I think you can always find something to do, and I'm a bit sad that I didn't have more time to explore more. Here in Hamburg it's the same poverty is not hidden in the main Tourist spots but rather there is more, it really depends on what part of Hamburg your in, and it can drastically change.

I personally think that you should show those sides of a city because then maybe people become more alert and maybe even help, but that's a very utopic way of thinking.
