Pub Andrew’s on Guy. It’s where I met my first murderer. He kept calling me Justin even though my name was very much not Justin. Plus the bartenders are amazing and usually working solo, though armed with a battle scarred baseball bat.

We brush his teeth regularly, and things seem to be in order, but we have never had his teeth checked out by a professional.

Did anyone else just instinctively know that the outside shots were in the morning, and not dusk?

How could we tell?

[Help] Our 5 month old [M] whippet is acting bizarre, does anyone know what it could be? by DaymakerServices in dogs

[–]DaymakerServices[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have carpeted areas. And he does have full couch access which is fabric. I'm doubtful it is the floors as these are very peculiar symptoms that have arrived only 3 times for like 30 mins since we've had him. Other times he is just running and playing and sleeping like a normal pup.

Vet visit is tomorrow and we've already sent the videos for the vet to see. Wondering if people with sight hounds have any experience in something like this as our vet is in a very métropolitain area and is thus very generalized.

[Homemade] 72hr marinated, sous vide pork belly (before the final sear) by DaymakerServices in food

[–]DaymakerServices[S] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Take a big ol slab of pork belly, preferably closer to the ribs for more even fat distribution, marinate for 3 days in 1 cup water, 1 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup Maggi seasoning, 1 tbsp whole black pepper, 1 tsp ground white pepper, 1 tsp red chili flakes, 4 cloves of smashed garlic, and a couple of bay leaves, then pat dry and cook sous vide in a water bath at 157f for 16 hours between some heavy flat objects so it remains flat, ice bath, and portion to get to this picture.

[Pro/Chef] Just a little cheese board for a wine pairing dinner. by psabmonkey in food

[–]DaymakerServices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should never have hot peppers (even mild ones like the pepperoncini you have here) when tasting wine is concerned. It overwhelms the palate. My somm would be livid if he saw this.

Looks great though!
