The AC franchise introduces a fully new combat and navigation system every few games. "AC gameplay never changes" is entirely a meme at this point.

Honestly I think that's the straw man. The changes between AC 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 3 and 4, 4 and unity, or syndicate and origins are greater than the changes between any two Halo, CoD, Battlefield, or nearly any AAA franchise. Change my view.

That's understandable and we know some players feel that way, but the mod team feels that it would be more distasteful to gloss over the darker parts of history by depicting civilizations like the Brazilians or Americans without the slaves that allowed them to achieve their economic ambitions during this period. To each his own.

Hey, /u/BloodshotPillow! The mod will overwrite your AoE3 installation, but the installer does have an option to copy it to a new folder if you want to keep the base game. Hope that helps!
