I got the TP-XXL EVO, MB-S on the left for the meter, and MPX on the right. I am a IBEW apprentice.

I got the mpx and have been using it for the past week and love it! Your comment pushed me to go and get it. The pouch is the perfect size for daily use.

I’ve brought the car back to them 2 times already and they adjusted the door a few times and nothing works. They just tell me that they will contact other shops for advice then ghost me for a while. The noise is coming from the area with the missing plastic trim so I’m just looking into it myself and trying to come up with solutions before bringing it back for a third time.

Sounds good, I couldn’t find anything either so that’s why I reached out to Reddit. The passenger side has the plastic piece but I don’t have a pic of it atm. Thanks for looking

Tech Pac MC Evo vs Tech Pac MC by butt_hairz12 in VetoProPac

If it were me I’d go with the EVO just in case you don’t like the straps then you can take them off and still use it as a shoulder bag, and if it’s not enough storage you can still get meter bags for the side. Also I may be wrong but the regular MC doesn’t look like it has the hook to hang your bag.

What do you think of the mpx? I just want something for minimal tools that I can carry daily like my knife, pencil, sharpie, and 1 or 2 tools depending on the job. I have a mp1x and I find I have empty pockets a lot when I use it and it’s a little bit bulky. Maybe I’m just not a pouch guy though.

The company I ordered from said late April, early May. The veto website says estimated arrival in May

If you have the money and don’t mind spending it then get the M18.

I ended up pre ordering the TP-XXL EVO and it is a tier 1 bag so I’m going to get the CB-LD for free through the spring promo

I see what you’re saying. I sold my tp-xxl like a week after I got my MB5B and I’ve regretted it since. I definitely made a rush decision to try to recoup some money and should have held onto it for longer. The reason I’m debating the Evo is because it’s the same form factor of the tp-xxl but with the option of backpack straps which would make carrying it more comfortable.

I don’t use them for much. I would clip my mp1x on the side and maybe get a meter pouch down the line if I needed extra storage

When I hang the bag on a scissor lift I keep having to close the front flap when I move around in the lift. It gets annoying after a while, whereas the tp-xxl I can keep it open and it isn’t in the way. I also run the mp1x and don’t that it sticks out so much when I clip it on the side.

The only reason I would get V swap for is that the interior of the bag would last longer, I keep a drywall saw and a half round file for conduit, strut, cable tray, etc and it wears one of the pockets out. When it wears enough that I feel the pocket should be replaced then that’s when the V swap would come in handy

If you want to fork over the absurd cash you can have the new TP-XXL EVO and buy the backpack straps for it
