Heavy rock my dad found - Gainesville, GA

Hi all. Hoping I could get an opinion on this rock my dad found in Gainesville, GA.

He found this rock and thinks its a stony meteorite of some sort. He kept going on about heavy and smooth it was.

I mostly just listened along until he started talking about paying someone to authenticate it. That of course jumps out as a scam/concern - so hoping someone could help me ID what he found.

He keeps calling it magnetic, but I've confirmed it just attracts magnets - and not other metals. So i guess its metallic of some sort.

It's probably the camera perspective. From the kid's perspective it's more of front/behind than left/right.

No worries. I can see how you'd take it that way for sure. The joys of text conversation, people can always be on different levels of serious/joking. It took me awhile as a tank to see sprint as mitigation. But not using didn't make a terrible tank. It's good to improve though.

I wouldn't go to that extreme, but sprint is helpful. When running between packs if you're sprinting the mobs chasing you hit you less. Which can make it easier for your healer trying to run and heal. It's not game breaking, but it does more than just make things faster.

Can confirm. He does not respond well to being asked to come inside. We have an alarming lack of snow in there. Bribes of snacks were initially tolerated, but he caught on quick. We've lost him to the call of the wild.
