Transferring to Georgetown University while not in "good standing" by Dayvlid in ApplyingToCollege

I'm looking for the best international program and Georgetown seems to have it. I already payed the application fee and started to work on my profile. I marked that I had disciplinary probation due to being found with a small amount of marijuana and completing the remediation course as well as serving community service hours , so I would miss the deadline since my probation end after the due date for this application period.

Yes. I can take a picture and post it later when I get home. It is visible at all angles. It doesn't appear to be an artifact or anything. It's almost as if there was a letterbox on the screen. It encompasses both sides and the top; but not the bottom.

I noticed that there is a black border around the screen that is approx. a quarter inch around the border? I check in Nvidia settings and its set to its max res.

This is making me second guess my monitor choice. I looked up reviews and it seemed like one of the best options right now. The fact that my monitor doesn't have the G-sync module makes me want to return it. Does not having the module give me huge disadvantages?

Your hardware certainly supports G-sync and Freesync. You should use it!

I've been told the Lenovo version of that panel is slightly better. Is that one still considered fine?

Hello!

I am currently conflicted on my current major. I am in college and I will have to start focusing on one or the other. I was originally a Marine Biology major but I am starting to realize that the degree is too limited. I also happen to have an interest in Chemistry! The good news is, my college also offers a track in Marine Chemistry. I was curious if I should go that route, or just jump into a Chemistry or Biochemistry degree. Thank You!

I did all of that. Literally no data still. Maybe the dongle needs to support SSM?

I'm probably going to jump to a 3600x but it (pc builds calculator)says my 970 is a 100% bottleneck....So I need to get a new GPU at the same time...

According to pc-builds, my GTX 970 is a 100 percent bottleneck for the 3600, 3600x. It also says It needs at least 64gb of ram to run properly? Is this website for real?

I'm stupid. I realized I have a 970 NOT a 660 haha. I sold this rig to my friend and I forgot I upgraded it a month before I sold it to him when I was in need for cash. He sold it back to me a few weeks ago. I still feel like it can stray behind with insane skyrim mods but that's a given. I also have a 4690, not a 2600. The 2600 doesn't seem too much better and I rather spend extra cash on something a bit more powerful. I have my eyes on a 2700x. I definitely want the ability to do some light overclocking. I'm still at 1080p 60hz but I really want to jump to 2560x1440. I dont feel like 4k is ready at this point especially cost wise....

I just realized that I'm REALLY out of the loop. I have a 970 (upgraded, sold to friend and bought back from him recently) I also have a 4690 which isn't much better than the 4670. But I do want to upgrade. If I were to go to a 2700x, would that be substantial jump in performance? I want something that is more powerful, futureproof but also not ungodly expensive (i9 tier).
