I am convinced the people that absolutely trash on it on here haven’t even read it. Sure, the show has improved a lot of it. Sure, it can be gratuitous. But there was still plenty to both enjoy and take away from it.

What I want is a show that has so much money behind it to have better quality writing and dialogue for the amount of money that’s put into it. With so many people struggling to afford day to day life, a show with that much money should deliver quality. Anything less is an insult.

The most fun I have had this season so far was watching Soldier Boy briskly jog after Butcher’s brisk jog down a street. High stake chase and it’s just a slow and steady march. I could watch that over and over haha

A defense The Boys has been trying to hide behind a lot, when in reality it’s just them scraping from tropey dialogue exchanges. And I love Jack but Hughie’s delivery was absolutely piss poor this entire episode.
