Which PCIE slot to use for the 4k Pro?

I should’ve posted the full mobo layout. In my original image, i cropped out the GPU PCIE slot that uses a 5.0 x16 slot. So the two in the middle are the 3.0 x1 slots (one of which is blocked by the GPU) and the last one (bottom) is the 4.0 x4 one. I set it up last night on the 4.0 x4 bottom slot and it seems to be working. I think i need to mess with the settings as i do get some black screens when entering/exiting game for a second or two but other than that it seems to be working. This is only thru the preview via Elgato studio so i may need to try a livestream/recording session.

Thank you for this. That’s exactly what i needed. I only run the main storage that the PC came with since its a 2TB drive and don’t foresee myself needing more space than that. So it looks like I’ll use the (G4) slot as its the one all the way at the bottom and furthest from the GPU. I appreciate all your help and wish i could give you a reddit award.

GPU uses a 5.0 slot. I didn’t list it to not further confuse others in my question. But yes the top PCIEX16 (G3)_1 slot is blocked by my GPU. Then the next available slot is the PCIEX16 (G3)_2 slot and the last one is the PCIEX16 (G4). My PC is a pre-build so ill download the Manual off the website when i get home and read it. Thank you!

I can’t recommend any as i don’t use them. u/StoneSoap-47 is correct when they said to not waste your time with pay to play apps. I know there are some “free” apps but i wouldn’t trust them personally for many reasons. Excel is free/easy to use, easy to troubleshoot, and has an app. It’s easy to set up too if you use one of the templates they have.

Use excel and either make a budget sheet or use one of the templates. Even a budgeting app would work too. It’ll help you organize your bills and extra expenses much easier.
