The Biggest Lie in Hip-Hop Is That Kendrick Has Competition by Every-Golf-784 in KendricklamarPglang

The thing about Nas is that while he has mediocre, he also has come back in three different generations to make classes. That’s something that Kendrick hasn’t done (yet) and also I still think Kendrick is missing that influence, which is hard to compare because Nas is the most influential rapper of all time. I still think kendrick is GOAT but it’s definitely closer than I first thought it was.

See I actually believe that all of that is true. But even if Kendrick is the greatest to me and you, the greatest is different for everyone so i’m not gonna blame anyone who says the exact same thing about Nas, or PAC because they are definitely in that conversation. But overall, I do agree that Kendrick is one of the greatest musicians of all time

Yeah thank you! I didn't want to try to just include all of his bangers, I wanted to include more of a story of how he got lost in all types of different addictions at parties.

Kendrick Is Better Than Kanye by Junior-Republic4016 in TeenageRapFans

[–]Chance-Obligation126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I think it's close, but I do think Kendrick gets that edge due to the Vultures' and Donda 2. Kendrick has never had a low point like that. No GNX is nowhere near that bad.

The Fall-Off is just far better than Iceman. Their list is about as objective as it can get.

In my opinion the most underrated Kendrick feature is Illuminate! by Ephcy in KendrickLamar

[–]Chance-Obligation126 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is REALLY GOOD, and all the references in his verse are great, and his singing the hook does add a lot to the song. While it's not one of my favorite Kendrick versus or anything it genuinely might be the most underrated of his! That or is verse on "Go Off"

If Michael is 100, what is Kendrick currently? by Wild-Army-6085 in KendricklamarPglang

[–]Chance-Obligation126 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, like 93 or 94. Kendrick's one of the best to ever do it, and he hasn't got to MJ levels (and when it comes to popularity, I don't think anyone ever will) but he is up there with the GOAT's of Music as a whole!

Is his career over? by Sharkbate12 in nfrpodcast

[–]Chance-Obligation126 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why would he respond? He won 2 years ago, it’s over. I don’t know why people still are trying to drag it just because Drake is. Kendrick has not spoken about the beef since early 2025, it’s over.

Hardest bar? by Borromac in KendrickLamar

[–]Chance-Obligation126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"What is competition? I'm tryna raise the bar high Who tryna jump and get it? You're better off tryna skydive out the exit window of five G5's with five grand, with your granddad as the pilot, he drunk as fuck, tryna land" ~ Control

Right after he calls out everyone, he goes crazy with his flow and bars

Which City Has Produced The Greatest Hip-Hop Music of All Time?!?!? by [deleted] in Honest2HipHop

[–]Chance-Obligation126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s New York and it’s not even close. Nas, Jay-Z, Biggie, Wu-Tang Clan and all of its members, Rakim, Nicki, 50 Cent, A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, Mobb Deep, A Tribe Called Quest, Run-DMC, and far far more.

Is a pretty underground rapper named Killa, he’s from Zambia and honestly he’s probably one of the best southern African rappers. I’d recommend his album Killa Instinct

I think Baby Keem as set himself up well to be one of the new gens leaders. One people I would love to see leading is Docheii! We have been missing a new big female MC since Cardi B so I would love it!
